2025 Open Fund Program Now Open!

The State Key Laboratory of Intelligent Coal Mining and Strata Control, affiliated with China Coal Technology and Engineering Group (CCTEG), has officially released the 2025 Open Fund Project Application Guide, inviting domestic and international researchers to submit high-quality proposals focused on intelligent coal mining, strata control, and related innovative technologies.

A total of 26 research directions are available this year, including 1 key project (funding: CNY 1 million) and 25 general projects (funding: CNY 150,000–250,000 each). Research topics cover a broad range of cutting-edge areas, including precise stress measurement, underground visual sensing, robotic teleoperation in complex environments, inertial/vision-based navigation, AI-driven geological hazard forecasting, and lifecycle-based equipment monitoring — all targeted at addressing critical industry needs.

Operated under the principles of "openness, mobility, collaboration, and competition," the laboratory plays a central role in advancing technological innovation and talent development in the coal sector. Priority is given to applicants from outside CCTEG, and international research teams are highly encouraged to apply. Directional recommendations and application assistance are available upon request.
