On 14 October 2025, China Coal Technology & Engineering Group (CCTEG) officially released the 2026 International Science & Technology Cooperation Priorities in Sydney, Australia, marking the official launch of the next phase of the CCTEG Supporting Research Project (see attached 1). This announcement signifies CCTEG’s continued effort to strengthen international scientific and technological collaboration and to promote innovation and knowledge exchange across the global mining community.
The 2026 project (see attached 1) focuses on five key areas that reflect CCTEG’s strategic direction and commitment to advancing mining science and technology. These include Intelligent Coal Mine Development, Green Coal Development, Coal Mine Safety Assurance, Clean and Low-Carbon Utilization of Coal, and Industrial Transformation & Upgrading. Each area highlights important opportunities for international cooperation in developing advanced technologies, improving production efficiency, and achieving sustainable and low-carbon growth in the mining industry.
The call for Expressions of Interest (EOI) (see attached 2) officially opened on 14 October 2025 and will close on 31 October 2025. Interested experts and scholars worldwide are welcome to submit EOIs within this period. (please use the attached EOI Template and return it to AMT R&D Management Team in Word format).
